Description
Autumn is mostly the season of fall, but it is a season of colours and mesmerising beauty. Golden and crimson hues dominate the scene. Crispy leaves form a carpet. The morning breeze is infused with a novelty that invigorates the soul, and the drops of morning dew shine like pearls on being kissed by the gentle rays of the sun. All around seems a blissful fantasy with a castle in the sky guarding the golden treasure of nature.
“Fall has always been my favourite season. The time when everything bursts with its last beauty, as if nature had been saving up all year for the grand finale,” wrote Lauren Destefano.
In the English language, calling the season “autumn” first began in the 12th century. But the word was not commonly used until about the 16th century. This is about the same time that people began using the word “fall” to mean autumn. However, even earlier, the season was called “harvest.”
Itinerary
Arrive at Srinagar, the capital of Jammu and Kashmir. Check-in at your hotel or houseboat on Dal Lake. Drive to SONMARG (around 50-60 km from Srinagar).- After an early breakfast, proceed for a day trip to SONMARG, known as the "Meadow of Flowers" ." En route, visit the Thajiwas Glacier and experience the stunning alpine beauty. Arrive in Sonmarg and spend the day exploring the serene meadows and enjoying nature. At evening back to srinagar for over night stay

Travel to Pahalgam : Start your journey early in the morning from Srinagar. Pahalgam is 3-hour drive away. Enjoy the scenic views Betaab Valley: Betaab Valley, named after the Bollywood here, is a picturesque spot with lush greenery You can explore the valley, take a stroll along he surrounding landscapes. Doodah Patri, also known as "Doodah Patri Meadow," is a beautiful and serene destination in union territory of Jammu and Kashmir. It is located about 42 kilometres from Srinagar, the summer capital of Jammu and Kashmir. Doodah Patri is famous for its lush green meadows, clear streams, and pristine natural beauty. Start your day early, as it takes about 2-3 hours to reach Doodah Patri from Srinagar by road. The drive to Doodah Patri offers breathtaking views of the Kashmir Valley, so be sure to enjoy the journey. Return to Srinagar in the evening
